In feng shui, can any frog be a money frog?

Question: In feng shui, can any frog be a money frog?

~ because I already have several stone frog fetishes! Can I just display my frogs on coins (they are small) and leave it at that? They're regular old frogs, not three legged. I would rather use my frogs than buy a new frog. One I have made of jasper is snapped in half. Can I glue him back together? My departed father gave him to me as a gift and I still have the pieces sitting together, not glued. There are no shards missing, it is a clean break. I would like to have a frog in my office and one in my home. Can they sit on regular American coins, like quarters? I have real gold coins in my home if that would be better, but I don't want to place a real gold coin in my office. Is silver okay?

Garden-variety frogs (pun intended) are more for cleansing than attracting money. A traditional three-legged frog would be better. No reason not to glue your jasper frog back together unless you plan on using it for ritual work in which case you would want to be careful which glue you used. Any coins will work but do try to find older coins which are made entirely from precious metals. I also find it helpful to use coins from a financially secure country with a high rate of exchange.

Come on, do it right and don't be so freaking cheap all ready.

Chan Chu is a three-legged toad. If you think you can replace Chan Chu with anything other than a bullfrog, you are missing the whole point of Feng Shui. I have Chan Chu sitting just inside my front door, and he has been very favourable towards me. I therefore recommend you stick to the real thing. Substitution (with a poor copy of the original) will probably not bring the desired outcome.
